Connect events without overpromising identity
Useful events include access granted, access denied, door forced open and door held open. A matching camera can show what happened at the opening, but a shared fob event does not prove who carried the credential.
Place the camera for the door
The view should show the person approaching or passing through without being blocked by the open door. A second overview may be needed for tailgating, direction of travel or activity in the lobby.

Council, property management and security staff may need different rights. Separate accounts can limit live view, playback, exports, door control and administration while creating clearer accountability.
