Before the upgrade
The starting point
Mint relied on an older analog CCTV system, but the existing coaxial cable network remained a valuable part of the building’s infrastructure.

WeTech upgraded the property to an Avigilon IP video-surveillance system while reusing suitable existing coaxial cabling instead of stripping out and replacing every cable run.

The strata gained modern IP-camera performance and management while avoiding unnecessary rewiring, reducing disruption and controlling the retrofit cost.

What this completed scope demonstrates
Mint shows that an analog-to-IP CCTV upgrade does not always require replacing every cable. WeTech retained suitable existing coaxial infrastructure and migrated the property to an Avigilon IP video system after determining that reuse fit the retrofit.
Reuse was a tested project decision
The older analog camera platform needed modernization, but the cable network remained a potentially useful asset. The new design reused suitable coaxial runs instead of assuming that every path had to be removed.
What the result proves—and what it does not
The property gained modern IP video management with less unnecessary rewiring and disruption. This project does not prove that any coaxial cable can be reused; condition, distance, connectors, conversion equipment, power and the selected camera platform must be assessed at each site.
