The project brought building entrances, amenity doors, gates and connected access points into a more consistent property-management and resident-access experience using managed fobs, mobile credentials, BLE and NFC where configured.

Chelsea Gardens in Surrey documents a coordinated retrofit across a 400-unit community: seven Akuvox S539 video intercoms, 40 controlled doors and six gate controls. From separate databases to one management portal
In his published customer interview, Zenon, who helps manage access control at Chelsea Gardens, describes moving from eight separate databases to one web-based management portal. He highlights simpler administration and resident choice, including Bluetooth, configured facial access and a traditional fob.
That is an attributed customer account of the management change. The project scope also includes resident onboarding and centralized administration across building entrances, shared amenities and connected access points.

The original photographs show an S539 video intercom at Mayfair, the main entrance station beside the community fountain, a purpose-built stainless-steel retrofit plate, an A08 reader at a community gate and another at the pool-and-spa amenity door.

The active Akuvox S539 entrance station displays the Mayfair directory and live visitor video on a stainless-steel retrofit panel, supporting modern calling and resident entry at the Surrey strata community.
A pedestal-mounted Akuvox S539 beside the community fountain provides a clear visitor calling point at the main entrance to the multi-building Chelsea Gardens property.
The 10-inch Akuvox S539 is centered on a purpose-built stainless-steel plate that covers the former opening and creates a clean finished entrance installation.
A compact Akuvox A08 reader is mounted at the gate post to bring this pedestrian entrance into Chelsea Gardens’ property-wide credential-management system.
The amenity-door reader extends managed resident access to the Chelsea Gardens pool and spa while the existing keyed hardware remains visible at the doorway.
