What this means for your property
A delivery driver can call the resident from the entrance panel, allowing the resident to see and speak with the caller before releasing the approved door. On supported configurations, the resident or another authorized user may instead issue a temporary PIN or QR credential for a defined delivery.
The building must decide who can issue it, which entrance it opens and when it stops working. An intercom at a mailroom can control that doorway, but the complete delivery route still needs planning: the courier may also need access through a lobby or another controlled door. Temporary entry does not automatically authorize access to every floor, amenity or resident area.
