Before the upgrade

The starting point

Blue Spruce residents used physical keys and an older wired audio intercom. The entrance panel relied on individual call buttons with paper resident-name labels, and it did not provide video visitor verification or app-based door release.

What WeTech installed

The security upgrade

WeTech removed the legacy name-button panel and installed an Akuvox video intercom and access-control terminal on a clean stainless-steel retrofit plate. The configured resident options include consent-based facial access, BLE, NFC, RFID fobs and mobile-app unlocking.

After the upgrade

The operating outcome

The entrance now supports live visitor video, remote release and several approved resident access methods. A managed digital directory replaces the old collection of paper name strips at the lobby entrance.

From a legacy name-button directory to a modern Akuvox entrance.

The old audio intercom displayed resident information on physical labels. WeTech replaced it with an Akuvox video intercom and integrated access-control terminal. Every identifying label in the before photo has been intentionally blurred for resident privacy.
