The starting point

The property’s visitor entry depended on a conventional audio intercom, with separate gate remotes and no live video at the entrance.

What WeTech installed

The security upgrade

WeTech replaced the older audio entry equipment with an Akuvox touchscreen video intercom on a fitted stainless-steel retrofit plate, connected the gate-control workflow and retained support for the building’s existing remotes.

After the upgrade

The operating outcome

The completed entrance provides live visitor video, PIN access, on-screen calling and a digital directory, with coordinated gate control and the familiar remote option still available to residents.

How was the Roseburg Apartments entrance upgraded?

This original project photograph shows the completed audio-to-video retrofit in Chilliwack. WeTech integrated the Akuvox touchscreen into the existing stone entrance with a fitted stainless-steel plate, kept the resident credential reader beside it and connected the building’s gate-control workflow without removing the familiar gate-remote option.
