Before the upgrade
The starting point
Residents relied on traditional keys, an audio-only wired intercom with a printed resident directory and Linear remotes for the overhead parkade gate.

What WeTech installed
The security upgrade
WeTech replaced the audio entrance with an Akuvox video intercom and smart access supporting fobs, BLE, NFC, app unlock and configured facial recognition. We also added temporary PIN and QR credentials for approved visitors and deliveries, controlled parkade elevator-lobby access, a gate video intercom, hands-free UHF windshield access and an interior free-exit sensor.

After the upgrade
The operating outcome
Residents can see and answer visitors, unlock approved entrances from the app, issue time-limited access for guests or deliveries and approach the overhead parkade gate without pressing a Linear remote. The UHF reader recognizes an authorized windshield credential and opens the gate hands-free.

Carlton Court's printed-directory audio intercom was replaced with live visitor video, a digital directory and flexible credentials. Residents can use approved fobs, BLE, NFC, app unlock and configured facial recognition, while temporary PIN or QR access supports visitors and deliveries. How did Carlton Court move from keys and remotes to smart, hands-free access?
WeTech connected each part of the resident journey: Akuvox video intercoms replaced audio-only visitor calls, smart readers added fob, BLE, NFC, PIN, app unlock and configured facial-recognition options, and temporary credentials improved guest and delivery access. At the overhead parkade gate, long-range UHF windshield reading replaced the everyday need to press a Linear remote, while an interior free-exit sensor supports departing vehicles.
The screen supports live visitor verification, calling, a digital directory and time-limited PIN or QR access for approved guests and deliveries.
Approved residents can use fobs, BLE, NFC, PIN, app unlock or configured facial-recognition access instead of relying only on metal keys.
The UHF reader replaces the need to press a Linear remote for everyday entry by recognizing an authorized windshield credential as the vehicle approaches.
The entrance station brings video calling, directory search and temporary PIN access into a clean retrofit while retaining the existing lockbox.
